Observations
Groupe Maillard Industrie is an industrial group based in Autechaux with expertise in plastics processing (rotomoulding and thermoforming) and machine welding. With 40 years' experience under its belt, GMI is now a leader in the development of industrial and design parts, as well as a key player in the automotive packaging sector. GMI is active in markets as varied as the automotive industry (reusable packaging, special tanks), agriculture (silos, machine casings, bonnets, tanks), boating (boats, pontoon floats, buoys, tanks), the medical and health sectors (trays, cases, medical chairs), urban fittings (furnishings, furnishings, etc.) and the construction industry, (trays, cases, medical chairs), urban development and signage (cones, beacons, sorting containers, sanitary, comfort and rest modules), wastewater treatment and construction (water recovery tanks, micro-stations, drains), furniture and design (home furnishings, point-of-sale displays, lighting). The Group employs nearly 580 people, including more than 300 in Autechaux, and generates sales of €70m, 35% of which is exported. Two subsidiaries, in the Czech Republic and India, complete the company's industrial structure.
